Wrenbury-cum-Frith is a small rural civil parish in Cheshire East, England, centred on the attractive village of Wrenbury and surrounded by the low-lying farmland of the Cheshire plain. The area is notable for the nearby Wrenbury Moss nature reserve, a rare lowland raised bog and SSSI, and a compact historic village core with timber-framed cottages and the parish St Margaret's Church, which has medieval origins. The village retains a strong sense of place and conservation interest.
Although traditionally agricultural, the local economy now mixes farming with small businesses and commuters who use Wrenbury railway station on the Crewe–Shrewsbury line to reach larger towns such as Crewe and Nantwich. Community life is active for a village of its size, centred on a village hall, primary school and sports clubs, with annual events and a character that blends rural traditions with modern commuting life near the Shropshire border.
