Euxton is an electoral ward in the borough of Chorley, Lancashire, England, lying between the towns of Chorley and Leyland. It mixes suburban streets and semi‑rural lane with modern development: much of the recent housing and business growth is centred on Buckshaw Village, and the arrival of Buckshaw Parkway station has strengthened rail links for commuters to Preston and Manchester.
The ward still shows traces of its past in pockets of historic parkland around Euxton Hall, while community life revolves around local schools, sports clubs and small commercial centres. The area is notable for its transition from former industrial and military use to a more mixed residential and light‑industrial economy, giving it a blend of longstanding village character and newer, commuter‑oriented neighbourhoods.
