Parbold is a village in West Lancashire, Lancashire, England, set at the foot of Parbold Hill, a sandstone ridge whose summit gives panoramic views across the West Lancashire Plain to the Ribble Estuary and the Irish Sea.
Historically it grew from agriculture and milling and expanded with the arrival of the railway; today Parbold has a station on the Manchester–Southport line and is a popular commuter and local-shopping centre with independent shops, pubs, schools and active community groups that sustain a village feel.
