Boston

Boston is a market town in the east of Lincolnshire, England, sitting on the tidal River Witham close to The Wash. Built on the flat, reclaimed landscape of The Fens, it grew as a prosperous medieval port and is still dominated by the tower of St Botolph's Church, popularly known as the Boston Stump; the town’s links with the Pilgrim Fathers helped give their new settlement the name Boston, Massachusetts in New England.
