Sculthorpe is a small rural village in the district of North Norfolk, within the county of Norfolk in England. It sits in gently rolling agricultural countryside a short drive from the market town of Fakenham, and feels typical of inland North Norfolk with lanes, farmsteads and pockets of wetland and woodland nearby.
The village has a noticeable historical footnote in the form of the former airfield, RAF Sculthorpe, which played a role during and after the Second World War and has left visible earthworks and reused buildings. Today the local economy remains largely agricultural with some residents commuting to nearby towns, and nature spots such as Sculthorpe Moor and surrounding farmland attract birdwatchers and walkers, giving the area a quiet, community-oriented character.
