Erraid is a small tidal island in the Inner Hebrides off the southwest tip of Mull, within Argyll and Bute in Scotland. At low tide a rocky causeway links it to Mull and its shoreline includes a sheltered natural harbour popular with visiting yachts and small craft; the land is largely machair, grazing and exposed rock with a scattering of cottages and ruins.
Life on the island is quiet and rural, sustained by crofting, grazing, occasional holiday lets and a modest level of shore-based tourism. Erraid appeals to walkers, birdwatchers and seal-spotters, and its old field walls, clachans and maritime traces give a strong sense of layered history and Hebridean remoteness.
