Tiree

Tiree sits in the western seaways of Argyll and Bute, Scotland, a remarkably flat, windswept isle famed for wide white sands, machair grasslands and excellent wind and wave conditions that attract surfers and kitesurfers from far afield. Its small, dispersed population practises crofting and mixed agriculture alongside a seasonal tourism economy, and the island is served by regular ferry and short domestic flights to the mainland.
