Hayes and Coney Hall is a largely residential ward in the London Borough of Bromley, on the southern fringe of Greater London in England. It brings together an older village-type core around Hayes with the interwar private-estate character of Coney Hall, so you get a mix of tree-lined streets, semis and detached houses alongside small parades of shops and local services.
The area sits pleasantly on the edge of suburban London, with pockets of green space and a community-orientated feel; many residents commute into central London while local clubs, pubs and grassroots groups give it a quieter, neighbourly social life rather than a big commercial identity. Historically the suburban expansion between the wars shaped much of its housing and street pattern, which still defines the ward today.
