Norley is a small rural village in the unitary authority of Cheshire West and Chester in north‑west England, set among rolling farmland and patches of woodland on the Cheshire Plain. It lies within easy reach of Delamere Forest and a number of small meres and wetlands, which give the area a quietly scenic, semi‑wild character.
The village has historic roots and still shows period houses and village institutions such as a church, primary school and village hall; its economy remains partly agricultural but many residents commute to nearby urban centres. A strong local community organises events and looks after green spaces, so Norley balances tranquil rural life with an engaged social scene and ready access to Chester, Liverpool and Manchester.
