Burghill is a small rural village and civil parish in Herefordshire, a few miles west of Hereford and not far from the Welsh border. It occupies rolling, mixed farmland typical of the county - pastures, orchards and hedgerow-lined lanes - and is popular with walkers and cyclists wanting quiet country routes and views across low hills.
The settlement has a long history reflected in its stone and timber-framed buildings and a traditional parish church, and the local economy remains largely agricultural alongside small businesses and commuters into town. Social life centres on village institutions such as the hall and pub and regular community events (fĂȘtes, farm and produce activities), giving Burghill a close-knit, village character.
