West Winch is a sizeable village and civil parish on the southern edge of King's Lynn in the district of King's Lynn and West Norfolk, Norfolk, England. Set on flat, low-lying fenland a few miles from The Wash, it has an agricultural landscape of arable fields and drainage dykes, while recent housing growth has strengthened its role as a commuter settlement for the nearby market town.
The village retains a historic core centred on its medieval parish church and former manor lands, and supports a lively community with a primary school, village hall and sports clubs. The local economy mixes farming and small businesses with many residents commuting by road - the A47 provides good links into King's Lynn and onward to Norwich - making it a quietly evolving part of west Norfolk.
