Mildenhall

Mildenhall is a traditional market town in West Suffolk, Suffolk, England, sitting on the edge of The Fens and the River Lark valley. It has a compact historic centre with a medieval parish church and a strong agricultural hinterland, and is famously associated with the Roman silver hoard known as the Mildenhall Treasure, now in the British Museum.

The nearby RAF Mildenhall (with a long United States Air Force presence) has had a big influence on the local economy and social life, bringing service-related jobs and an international community alongside traditional farming, small businesses and village pubs that host regular local events.
