Binham is a small village and civil parish in the district of North Norfolk, in the county of Norfolk, England. It sits a few miles inland from the exposed saltmarshes and wildlife of Blakeney Point, making it a quiet base popular with walkers and birdwatchers exploring the north Norfolk coast and countryside.
The village is best known for Binham Priory, the impressive remains of a Benedictine priory with a Norman church that survived much of the Dissolution; the priory gives the place a strong medieval character. Local life is largely rural and community-focused, with agriculture long important to the economy and tourism and heritage visits providing supplementary income, while a small, close-knit population maintains village events, a pub and a village hall.
