Fenny Compton is a small village and civil parish in the Stratford-on-Avon district of Warwickshire, England, sitting on the Warwickshire–Oxfordshire border a few miles south of Banbury. It occupies gently rolling farmland and ridge-top countryside, giving pleasant long views across the surrounding fields and lanes and a strong rural character despite easy road links to nearby towns.
The village has a long history, with the nearby Edge Hill - site of the first pitched battle of the English Civil War - adding local historic interest. In more recent centuries it was shaped by rural trades and a 19th-century railway junction and brickworks; today the economy is largely agricultural with a mix of commuters, and the community retains a village hall, church and pub that help keep an active social and cultural life.
