Brawdy is a small rural village and community in the north‑west of Pembrokeshire, Wales, sitting on the southern edge of the St David's peninsula. It’s set among rolling farmland with easy access to the dramatic coastline of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, so the area attracts walkers, birdwatchers and visitors after a quiet rural base close to the sea.
Historically the village is best known for RAF Brawdy, a mid‑20th‑century air station whose presence shaped the local economy and community life; since its military use declined many buildings have been repurposed and the local economy now leans on agriculture, small‑scale tourism and village services. Community life remains characteristically rural, with scattered hamlets, parish activities and close ties to the wider coastal culture of Pembrokeshire.
