Boconnoc is a small historic estate and village in east Cornwall, a few miles north of Lostwithiel and to the east of Liskeard in England. It is centred on Boconnoc House and its surrounding parkland and ancient woodland, with a landscape that reflects medieval and later country‑house development amid rolling farmland.
The area has long been shaped by the estate economy and a tight‑knit rural community, with several listed buildings including the parish church and traditional farmsteads. Its history of landed families and managed parkland gives the place a strong sense of continuity, and the estate still plays a noticeable role in local social and economic life while occasionally opening parts of its grounds to visitors.
