St. Dominick is a small rural civil parish in Cornwall, sitting close to the border with Devon beside the River Tamar. It consists of scattered hamlets and farmland rather than a single large village, and enjoys rolling countryside with views towards the Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Historically the area has been shaped by agriculture with links to the wider mining and quarrying landscape of east Cornwall, but today the local economy is largely farming plus residents who commute to nearby towns. The medieval parish church and a handful of village groups and events help maintain a strong community feel, while services and shops are usually sought in nearby market towns such as Callington and Gunnislake.
