Stokeclimsland is a rural parish in east Cornwall, England, set among rolling farmland and hedged lanes on the fringes of the Tamar Valley. The village and surrounding hamlets retain a traditional Cornish feel with granite-built buildings, scattered farms and views out towards nearby market towns such as Launceston.
Historically the community has medieval roots with a parish church of ancient origin and a past shaped by agriculture and local mining; today the economy is largely agricultural with some small businesses and commuters, while community life is centred on the church and village hall and a steady interest in preserving local heritage and walking the surrounding countryside.
