Luffincott is a tiny, largely agricultural parish in the district of Torridge, Devon, in the west of England. It sits in a landscape of rolling fields, hedgerows and scattered farmsteads rather than a nucleated village, and its community has traditionally been tied to farming and the nearby market towns that serve the area.
Historically quiet and dispersed, the parish contains a small parish church and a number of old farmhouses and cottages that reflect its long rural past; because of its size the population is very small and the place is often appreciated today for its peaceful countryside, walking and local heritage rather than for any large commercial or civic centre.
