Hazelbury Bryan is a small rural village and civil parish in north Dorset, England, set in the rolling, hedgerow‑dotted countryside of the Blackmore Vale. The settlement is made up of several hamlets clustered around a medieval parish church and a scattering of stone and thatched cottages, giving it a distinctly historic, agricultural feel.
Its name reflects the hazel landscape and a medieval landowning family, and the community still revolves largely around farming alongside a number of residents who commute to nearby market towns such as Sturminster Newton and Blandford Forum. Village life is quiet but active, with a village hall, local events and plenty of country lanes and footpaths that attract walkers and those seeking classic Dorset character.
