Nailsworth is a small market town in the Stroud district of Gloucestershire, England, set in the narrow, wooded Stroud Valleys at the western edge of the Cotswolds. The town developed along the valley of the River Frome and still shows its 19th‑century wool and textile heritage in converted mills and steep, historic streets.

Today Nailsworth has a lively, independent character: artisan food producers, cafés, antiques and small retailers sit alongside regular farmers’ markets and community events. It’s popular with walkers and cyclists, lies close to Woodchester Park and Woodchester Mansion, and many residents commute to larger centres such as Bristol and Bath.
