Snowshill is a tiny hilltop village and civil parish in the district of Tewkesbury, within Gloucestershire in England, sitting on the limestone ridges of the eastern Cotswolds. Narrow lanes and honey‑coloured stone cottages characterise the place, giving it a very traditional Cotswold feel, and it commands fine views across the surrounding countryside towards Broadway and Broadway Tower, with good walking country close by.
The village is best known for Snowshill Manor, the eccentric Arts and Crafts house reworked and filled with curios by Charles Paget Wade and now cared for by the National Trust, which brings much of the local tourist trade. Otherwise life here is rural and small‑scale: a farming hinterland, a handful of homes and a close‑knit local community, with visitors drawn by the manor, the scenery and nearby market towns such as Winchcombe.
