Kings Langley is a village and civil parish in Dacorum, Hertfordshire, England, set in the valley of the River Gade and alongside the Grand Union Canal. It lies between Hemel Hempstead and Watford, with a station on the West Coast Main Line and straightforward road access to the M25 and M1, making it a popular commuter base for London.
The village has medieval roots - the site of a former royal palace and priory - and retains a conservation area with several historic buildings. Today Kings Langley combines local shops, small industry and a largely residential community, supported by active social and voluntary groups and seasonal events, while countryside and the Chilterns are close by for leisure.
