Colney Heath

Colney Heath is a village and civil parish in the district of St. Albans, Hertfordshire, England, lying a few miles to the north of the city. It sits on the low-lying valley of the River Colne and is notable for the large open expanse of Colney Heath Common, an area of heath and wetland that attracts walkers and birdwatchers and preserves a strong sense of countryside on the edge of the suburban belt.
