Boughton under Blean is a village and civil parish in the district of Swale, in Kent, England, situated on the lower slopes of the North Downs beside the A2 (the old Roman Watling Street) between Faversham and Canterbury. Its history reaches back to the Domesday Book and the parish long served as a stopping point for travellers to Canterbury, with historic lanes, a notable parish church and links to the medieval Pilgrim's Way.
Today the area remains largely rural, with agriculture and commuter links into nearby towns supporting the local economy, while a tight-knit village community gathers around traditional pubs, a village hall and occasional local events. The neighbouring Blean Woods national nature reserve and the rolling Downs make the parish popular with walkers and nature lovers and give it a strong sense of place within Kent.
