Chapel St. Leonards is a coastal parish on the north‑eastern coast of Lincolnshire, in the district of East Lindsey, England. It sits on wide sandy beaches and dunes overlooking The Wash, with nearby salt marshes and tidal flats that support rich birdlife and give the area a noticeably low‑lying, estuarine character.
Originally a small fishing settlement named after a chapel dedicated to St Leonard, the parish grew into a family holiday resort during the 20th century; caravan parks, holiday homes and seafront facilities now dominate the local economy and social life, while quieter months reveal a close‑knit village community with local shops, a church and outdoor pastimes. Coastal management and nature conservation are important locally, attracting birdwatchers, walkers and watersports enthusiasts as well as seasonal visitors.
