Ingoldmells is a traditional Lincolnshire seaside village on the North Sea coast in East Lindsey, Lincolnshire, England, noted for long sandy beaches, dunes and a very tourism‑focused economy. It grew from a small fishing and farming settlement into a holiday hotspot in the 20th century, with large caravan parks, family attractions and a busy summer season that brings plentiful seasonal jobs but a much quieter winter life.
Chapel St. Leonards, immediately to the north of Ingoldmells and close to Skegness, feels a little more village‑like while sharing the same coastal landscape of beach and dunes. Named after a medieval chapel, it combines a resident community of families and retirees with the holiday trade - caravan parks and local businesses - and faces the familiar social and environmental challenges of east‑coast resorts, from seasonal reliance on tourism to coastal management.
