Beeston is a small village and civil parish in the district of Breckland, in the county of Norfolk in England. It sits within the characteristic Brecks landscape of sandy soils, pinewoods and dry heath, a patchwork that supports unusual wildlife and gives the area a more open, windswept feel than much of lowland Norfolk.
Historically a farming community with medieval roots and a parish church at its heart, Beeston remains largely rural though many residents now commute to nearby market towns such as Thetford and Attleborough or to Norwich. Village life is quiet and community-focused, centred on local events, the church and village hall, while the surrounding countryside attracts walkers and naturalists interested in the distinctive Breckland habitats.
