Old Buckenham is a small village and civil parish in Breckland, Norfolk, England, set on gently rolling arable countryside to the south‑west of Norwich and not far from Attleborough. The settlement retains a compact, historic core of cottages and lanes and is overlooked by the earthworks of Old Buckenham Castle, a well‑preserved Norman motte and bailey site that hints at the village's medieval past.
The village has a strong rural character and economy centred on farming and local services, while social life is animated by a village hall, a pub and community events. Nearby Old Buckenham Airfield, used by the USAAF in the Second World War, now hosts flying and vintage events that attract visitors and add an unusually lively aviation angle to an otherwise quintessential Norfolk village.
