Haveringland is a tiny rural parish in the Broadland district of Norfolk, England, lying a few miles north-west of Norwich and close to the small market town of Reepham. It’s largely arable farmland with scattered houses and narrow lanes, giving the area a peaceful, open character typical of north Norfolk.
The parish has a very small population and a quiet community life centred on its historic parish church and the surrounding countryside; agriculture remains important while some residents commute into Norwich. Visitors and locals appreciate the tranquillity, birdlife and hedged fieldscape, and the area offers a good example of Norfolk’s lesser-known rural settlements with layers of local history visible in field patterns and older buildings.
