Anmer is a tiny rural parish in the district of King's Lynn and West Norfolk, in the county of Norfolk, England. Set on the low-lying agricultural plain not far from the north Norfolk coast, it comprises a scatter of houses, farm buildings and a compact village street surrounded by arable fields and estate woodland, with Sandringham and the town of King's Lynn within easy reach.
Despite its modest size the parish has a strong historic and cultural identity: the village is dominated by the Georgian country house Anmer Hall, long associated with the nearby royal estate, and there are traces of earlier settlement in surviving earthworks and the parish church. The local economy remains largely estate- and farm-based, and the community retains a quiet, close-knit character that reflects its managed landscape and country-house connections.
