Langold is a former coal‑mining village in the district of Bassetlaw, Nottinghamshire, England. It expanded in the early 20th century to house the colliery workforce and, after the pits closed, settled into a largely residential community with commuter links to nearby towns such as Worksop and Doncaster.
The village is best known for Langold Country Park and the Langold Lakes, a popular local amenity surrounded by woodland that attracts walkers, anglers and birdwatchers. Socially it keeps a village feel with local clubs, a village hall and traces of its mining heritage woven into the local landscape and community identity.
