Bingham is a small market town in the borough of Rushcliffe, Nottinghamshire, England, lying roughly ten miles east of Nottingham. It has medieval roots and expanded noticeably with the arrival of the railway in the 19th century; the local station on the Nottingham–Grantham line helps make it a popular commuter base while retaining a compact town centre.
The town mixes independent shops, cafés and small industrial estates with active community organisations and sports clubs, and still hosts market activity and local events. Its position close to the rolling countryside of the Vale of Belvoir and landmarks such as Belvoir Castle gives residents easy access to rural amenities while remaining within reach of city services.
