The Firth Park ward sits in the north of Sheffield in South Yorkshire, roughly three miles from the city centre. It takes its name from the Victorian public park donated in the 1870s by local industrialist Mark Firth, and that green space remains the neighbourhood’s focal point.
The ward combines Victorian terraces and post‑war council housing and has a notably diverse population and active community organisations. There are local shops, schools and sports facilities, with ongoing regeneration work addressing pockets of economic challenge while the park and community centres continue to anchor local social life.
