Graves Park is an electoral ward on the southern fringe of Sheffield, named after the large municipal park at its heart. The ward is largely suburban, with a mix of interwar and postwar housing, local shops and community facilities; its green corridors and good public transport links make it popular with families and commuters heading into the city centre.
The park itself provides a strong local identity - generous woodland, open grassland, a small farm and sports facilities give the area a distinctly recreational feel, and the ward benefits from community clubs and volunteer groups that use those spaces.
