Mendlesham is a village and civil parish in Mid Suffolk, Suffolk, England, set in the gently rolling arable countryside typical of east‑Anglia. The tall mast of the Mendlesham transmitting station is a local landmark visible for miles, while a medieval parish church and scattered historic cottages underline its long rural heritage.
The village has a largely agricultural economy supplemented by small businesses and community facilities such as a primary school, village hall and a public house, and retains an active social life with clubs and seasonal events. Close by is the site of RAF Mendlesham, a World War II airfield used by USAAF which is now mostly returned to farmland but remembered by local memorials and history groups.
