Worthing

Worthing sits on the south coast of West Sussex in England, nestled between Brighton and Littlehampton. The town has a long shingle beach, a Victorian pier and the South Downs rising not far inland, giving a mix of seaside promenade and chalk grassland scenery.

Originally a small fishing settlement, Worthing expanded as a 19th‑century seaside resort and still shows plenty of Georgian and Victorian architecture. It has an active cultural life with theatres, a museum and art spaces, regular festivals and a lively independent high street by the seafront.
