Aberporth is a small coastal village in Ceredigion, Wales, sitting on the shores of Cardigan Bay. Its sandy beach, backed by cliffs and dunes and linked to the Ceredigion Coast Path, makes it popular for seaside walks and wildlife watching - dolphins and porpoises are often spotted offshore. The harbour and cliffs reflect a long maritime heritage and a relaxed, seasonal tourism trade.
Alongside tourism and local fishing, the village is notable for ParcAberporth, a centre for testing unmanned aerial systems that has introduced a modern economic strand to the area. Welsh is still widely spoken locally, and community life blends traditional coastal rhythms with amenities and events for both residents and visitors.
