Northop Hall is a small village and community in Flintshire, Wales, lying a few miles west of Mold and within easy reach of Chester via the A55. It sits in gently rolling farmland on the fringe of the plain that leads to the Dee Estuary and with the Clwydian Range visible to the west, so the setting feels rural while still being convenient for nearby towns.
The settlement grew up around the historic country house that gives it its name, and that mansion has long been a local landmark (now operating as a country hotel and spa), while village life centres on a pub, sports clubs and a village hall. Historically agricultural, the area today combines farming with a fair number of commuters and small local businesses, giving Northop Hall a quietly villagey social scene with occasional community events and active local clubs.
