Cublington is a small village and civil parish in Buckinghamshire, England, set in gently rolling agricultural countryside a few miles north‑east of Aylesbury. It has a distinctly rural feel with historic cottages and farm buildings, and today many residents combine village life with commuting to nearby towns and London.
The village is probably best known for its role in national debate when it was shortlisted as a potential site for a major airport in the late 1960s and early 1970s, an episode that prompted strong local and national protest and remains part of local memory. Community life is still village‑centred, with a parish church, village hall, seasonal events and easy access to surrounding footpaths and farmland.
