Bletchley is a district of Milton Keynes in England, originally a separate market town in Buckinghamshire that now sits just to the south of Central Milton Keynes. It lies close to local waterways such as the Grand Union Canal and the River Ouzel, and benefits from good transport links by rail and road - making journeys to London and the M1 straightforward for commuters.
Its best‑known claim to fame is Bletchley Park, the Second World War codebreaking centre where Alan Turing and others cracked enemy ciphers; today that site is a lively museum and cultural draw. The town has a mixed local economy of shops, light industry and public services, a diverse residential community and ongoing regeneration around the station and town centre that aims to refresh high streets and attract new businesses.
