Prestbury is a historic village and civil parish in Cheshire East, England, a short drive from Macclesfield. Its compact conservation-area core is centred on a large village green surrounded by timber‑framed and Georgian houses and a medieval church such as St Peter's Church, giving the place a strong sense of continuity and plenty of listed buildings.
Today Prestbury is largely an affluent commuter community with a lively local high street of independent shops, pubs and cafés, regular village fetes and an active parish life; many residents commute to Manchester, while the surrounding countryside encourages walking and riding and offers easy access to the hills on the edge of the Peak District.
