Menheniot is a small, mainly rural parish in southeast Cornwall, England, set among rolling farmland and hedgerow-lined lanes not far from Liskeard and within easy reach of the granite uplands of Bodmin Moor and the south Cornish coast around Looe. The landscape mixes arable and grazing fields with scattered hamlets and pockets of woodland, giving a quiet, traditionally agricultural character.
Historically the village grew around its medieval church and a pattern of smallholdings; Victorian transport and local quarrying or mining activity also left their mark, while today the local economy is a blend of farming, small businesses and commuting to nearby towns. Community life remains strong with village amenities, historic buildings and a sense of local identity typical of rural Cornish parishes.
