St Teath lies in north Cornwall in south‑west England, a few miles inland from the north Cornish coast between the granite uplands of Bodmin Moor and the lowland estuaries. The civil parish includes smaller settlements such as Delabole and is characterised by rolling farmland, hedgerow‑lined lanes and the landscape left by historic quarrying and agriculture.
The medieval parish church dedicated to St Tetha, with its solid granite tower, anchors a place with deep historic roots and evidence of earlier settlement. Economically the area has long relied on farming and the nearby Delabole slate quarry, while today local shops, pubs, village halls and seasonal tourism keep community life active and traditional events and social ties remain important to residents.
