North Molton sits on the northern edge of Exmoor in rural North Devon, Devon, occupying rolling farmland, wooded valleys and the moorland fringe. The village and wider parish look over the shallow valley of the River Mole and are dotted with traditional stone cottages, an old parish church and a handful of hamlets, making it a pleasant base for walkers exploring the moor and lanes.
