Holsworthy Hamlets is the largely rural civil area that wraps around the market town of Holsworthy in the Torridge district of Devon, England. It sits in the rolling north-Devon landscape of patchwork fields, hedgerows and small streams close to the Cornish border, with easy access to the north coast and moorland country such as Exmoor a short drive away.
The area retains a strong agricultural character - family farms, dairy and beef production and pockets of cider orchards - alongside clusters of traditional stone and cob cottages. Social life is centred on village halls, parish activities and the nearby market services in Holsworthy, while walkers and cyclists appreciate quiet lanes, historic country churches and the sense of a small, close-knit rural community that has evolved without losing much of its historic character.
