Flimwell is a small village in the civil parish of Ticehurst, within the district of Rother in East Sussex, England. It sits on the A21 close to the Kent border and lies within the rolling wooded landscape of the High Weald, with easy access to nearby reservoirs and countryside such as Bewl Water.
The village has a distinctly rural yet commuter-friendly character: a mix of farms, equestrian yards, garden centres and a few pubs and small businesses, with many residents travelling to Tunbridge Wells or further afield for work. Historically a stopping point on routes between London and the coast, Flimwell still shows period buildings and a relaxed village atmosphere amid its agricultural surroundings.
