Horam is a small village in the district of Wealden, in East Sussex, England, set on the edge of the High Weald with its rolling farmland, woods and sandstone ridges. It has a compact, semi‑rural feel with a mix of older cottages and newer homes, lying within easy reach of larger towns and the Sussex coast.
Historically the village grew with the arrival of the railway; the old line is now the recreational Cuckoo Trail, popular with walkers and cyclists and bringing visitors through the area. Local life centres on community groups, a village hall, small shops and businesses, and a residential population that commutes regionally while agriculture and rural enterprises still contribute to the local economy.
