Ninfield is a village and civil parish in the district of Wealden in East Sussex, England. It sits on a ridge of the High Weald, giving open views across the surrounding countryside and is a few miles north of Bexhill-on-Sea and south of Battle.
The village has medieval origins and its name is often said to mean “nine fields”; it still retains a village green, a historic parish church and traditional pubs alongside modern housing. Local life combines small-scale farming, community events and clubs with many residents commuting to nearby towns such as Hastings, so Ninfield mixes a clearly rural character with practical links to the coast.
