Northleach is a compact historic market town in the heart of the Cotswolds, within the county of Gloucestershire, England. It takes its name from the nearby River Leach and is noted for its honey‑coloured limestone buildings clustered around a traditional market square and an imposing medieval parish church, St Peter and St Paul, with fine stone carving and medieval woodwork.
Historically prosperous from the wool and cloth trade, Northleach today combines tourism with agriculture and local services: independent shops, antiques, cafés and pubs, and a lively community calendar of markets and events that draw walkers and visitors exploring the surrounding rolling Cotswold countryside.
